Meet Matthew

Dr. Bakos is a board-certified dermatologist certified by The American Board of Dermatology and an active American Academy of Dermatology (AAOD) member. He attended medical school at Wright State University School of Medicine then went on to complete his residency training in dermatology at Kettering Medical Center and Wright State University.

Viewed as a leader in many areas of dermatology, many publications and presentations on dermatology have featured Dr. Bakos. In addition to his membership with the AAOD, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS), he is also active in the Ohio Dermatological Association, Ohio Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Inc., Montgomery County Medical Society, American Medical Association and the Women's Dermatological Society. Dr. Bakos was also recognized as one of Dayton Magazine's Best Doctors in 2025 for Dermatology.

In addition to his medical and surgical expertise, Dr. Bakos has built a strong following with his aesthetics services including Botox®, chemical peels, laser resurfacing, fillers and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy.
