Meet Nathan

Nathan M. Weir, MD, PhD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist in the Cincinnati area, specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors and distinction from The Ohio State University, then completed a combined MD/PhD in biomedical sciences at Wright State University. He completed his internship at the University of Illinois Chicago before returning to Wright State University for his dermatology residency.

Dr. Weir practices with DOCS Dermatology, where he provides comprehensive care for skin, hair, and nail conditions for patients of all ages. He has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology, laser treatments, pigmentary disorders such as melasma and vitiligo, inflammatory skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, and skin cancer screening and treatment.

Throughout his career, Dr. Weir has remained active in clinical and research-based dermatology. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented at national conferences on advances in medical and cosmetic dermatology, bringing the latest treatment options to his patients. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, and he collaborates with leading dermatology and skincare organizations on clinician education and product innovation.
