Dr. Kirkland earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH, and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Cincinnati. He then completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery, cutaneous oncology, cosmetic surgery, and facial reconstructive surgery in Morristown, NJ, solidifying his expertise as a leading skin cancer and Mohs surgeon in Columbus.
In addition to his active practice, Dr. Kirkland has authored multiple articles on cutaneous oncology, laser surgery, cosmetic surgery, and medical dermatology. Outside of work, Dr. Kirkland enjoys traveling, exercising, golf, and snowboarding. He and his wife, Wendy, an ophthalmologist in Columbus, are proud parents to Nolan and Camille.
