Meet Phillip

Dr. Phillip K. Hall is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon in Dayton, specializing in Mohs surgery, cutaneous oncology, and facial reconstructive surgery. Patients in Dayton and surrounding communities trust Dr. Hall for expert skin cancer diagnosis, treatment, and advanced dermatologic care.

Dr. Hall earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, completed his residency in dermatology there, and then completed an intensive fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Louisiana State University. As an ACMS fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, he provides comprehensive treatment for basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and other cutaneous malignancies.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Hall serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, instructing residents and medical students. He has authored academic articles and textbook chapters and presented at local, state, and national meetings. Dr. Hall is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery, and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Ohio Dermatological Association, and Ohio State Medical Association. He was recognized as one of Dayton Magazine's Best Doctors in 2025 for Mohs Surgery.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hall is a musician and multi-instrumentalist who enjoys writing, recording, and performing his own music.
