Meet Gina

Gina Gano, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant at DOCS Dermatology in Dayton, Ohio. She specializes in skin cancer screening and treatment, benign skin lesions, general plastic surgery, breast surgery, and cosmetic care for patients in the Dayton, Springfield, and Vandalia areas. Gina sees patients in the clinic and assists in the operating room, providing both intraoperative and postoperative care to surgical patients.

Gina earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wright State University in 2019, with a concentration in Applied Physiology and a minor in Public Health. She completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Kettering College of Medical Arts in 2021. Before joining Miami Valley Plastic Surgeons in April 2024, she worked in orthopedic spine surgery and osteoporosis care in Springfield, Ohio. Gina is passionate about patient education, reassurance, and compassion, and patients can count on her for a gentle touch and a warm smile.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys volleyball, hiking, and traveling with her husband, as well as time with friends, family, and her golden retriever, Roman.
